Lamberts® Ashwagandha 6000mg is a high potency titrated Ashwagandha root extract. All of the herb used in the manufacture of Ashwagandha 6000mg is derived from the root of the herb, as that is where the vitanolides are found exclusively. Thus each tablet provides a guaranteed amount of 15mg of vitanolides, an amount equal to that which has been used in the majority of clinical studies.
As a result of the majority of the studies, the number of studies used in clinical trials is the same as in most studies.
In addition, vitamin C and zinc have been added, ingredients which are known to contribute to normal immune function*.
Ashwagandha 6000mg, like all Lamberts® formulations, is manufactured within the UK to strict Pharmaceutical GMP (Pharmaceutical GMP) standards.
Aswagandha (Withania somnifera), also known as ‘Indian ginseng’, is a herb that grows mostly in India and comes with a long history of use in Far Eastern countries.
The most important phytochemically active substances of Aswaganda are found in the root of the herb and are called vitanolides (or guathanolides / withanolides) and possess adaptogenic properties*. The adaptogenic action of the herb is applicable in situations of exposure to chronic stressors (physical or mental)* and in situations where optimal mental and cognitive activity is required*.
