Milk Flow Stimulation and Pumping Phase
When babies are breastfed, they start sucking fast so that milk stimulation begins to flow. As soon as the milk starts to flow, the baby draws milk with slower, deeper suctions. To mimic this natural rhythm, the Lansinoh® Small Single Pump Electric Breastfeeding provides 2 phases - the Milk Flow Stimulation Phase and the Pumping Phase.
Milk Flow Stimulation Phase, is the fast pumping style that mimics the slow and fast suctions that the baby uses to start the milk flow.
Pumping phase, mimics slow, deep suctions, with 5 adjustable levels that are personalized to your needs. When we turn on the breast pump, it starts with the Milk Flow Stimulation Phase, level 3 and automatically switches to the Pumping phase after 2 minutes, which means that you do not have to press the phase shift button (if you do not want it).
You can go to the Pumping Phase at any time if your milk has started to flow before the 2 minutes of the transition. With automatic closing if the breast pump is not used for more than 60 minutes.
