Safe and Sound Health’s Washproof Injection Plasters are round and washproof, perfect for covering and protecting post-injection bleeds such as daily diabetic injections, spots and small puncture wounds. Our washproof injection plasters are soft, comfortable and breathable. The non-stick wound pad helps to create the ideal moist healing environment, speeding up healing time.

Before applying one of our washproof post-injection plasters, gently clean the wound and pat dry. Apply the plaster over the cut, pressing the edges firmly. Replace the plaster once daily, or when necessary.

Application

Thoroughly wash your hands before tending to any wounds with either soap and water or antibacterial hand gel 

Gently rinse the wound with water, removing any dirt or grit. You can use an antiseptic wipe or antiseptic spray to clean and disinfect the injection site and surrounding area

Carefully pat the area dry and check the plaster for folds and creases before applying. Placing the non-stick wound pad over the wound, firmly press down on the adhesive and make sure the plasters is secure without any bumps or gaps around the edges
